Have used a few times for both paddling and surfing. Fits great, easy to get on and off. Good for the in-between summer and winter period at 1.5 mm. Had a problem with some stitching giving way after about 6 uses. Vaikobi replaced with new item without question. No problems with replacement. Good customer service. Thanks
The Long John was very well made and I’m glad I purchased it. At 5’10” and 170 lbs, the size large fit well and was comfortable paddling my surfski with the air temperature at 50 degrees F with a Vcold top and polypropylene briefs and 7 mm booties. I did not purposely dump the ski and remount in the 48 degrees F water. I was glad it didn’t have a front zipper as taking care of necessary body functions was easy.
My son wore it for the first time yesterday and it was so comfortable and fitted well. We orginally ordered the small, but knew as soon as we opened the package we needed to go up a size and it was an easy process to send back to exchange for the next size up. He is looking forward to wearing more of your gear.
I got a size M and it fits me nicely (I am 173 cm at 73 kg). I am using it for surfski paddling and its been great so far. I also got the 3 mm for when it gets colder. In addition am using Sealskin stockings for keeping the feet dry.
Very good so far for winter sessions

If one of your body measurements is in between two sizes, order the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit. If your body measurements for hips and waist correspond to two different suggested sizes, order the one indicated by your hip measurement.
WAIST: Measure around the narrowest part (typically where your body bends side to side), keeping the tape horizontal.
HIPS: Measure around the widest part of your hips, keeping the tape horizontal.
CHEST: Measure the fullest area of your chest. Stand up straight and breath normally.
