When should I wear Vaikobi VDRY gear?

The VDRY range is designed for surface water sports where wind, spray, and light rain are the main elements to deal with — including dinghy sailing, paddling, kayaking, canoeing, and yacht sailing. It works best as an outer layer over a wetsuit or thermal base layer, blocking spray and wind without adding bulk or restricting movement.

Yes - all V-DRY-X garments are designed with minimal Vaikobi branding, making them ideal for custom sailing teamwear. Do Vaikobi’s waterproof or weatherproof products contain harmful chemicals such as PFAS (perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances)?

We are working toward phasing out PFAS across our product lines, and are investing significant time and resources into piloting bio-based alternatives. However, currently some of our membranes and water-repellent finishes do contain added PFAS.
