    These shorts saved my ...

    The Edge Padded Shorts have been a game changer for me when it cones to long-distance OC1 and OC6 (outrigger canoe) paddle workouts, downwinders, and races. Before I discovered the Edge shorts, the discomfort in my left hip area after an hour or more in the seat was more of a strain on my effort than the physically taxing exhaustion of paddling at 100 effort for an extended period of time. The shorts have literally eliminated the pain, and I can now focus on what matters, enjoying being on the water, workouts, catching bumps, and competing in races. The padding is perfectly placed to wrap around your hip area, enough padding rise in the back, and still be very comfortable to wear both before and after workouts/races. As far as fit, they are a size down, so if you normally wear a Large, order Medium.

    Edge Padded Shorts

    I owned a pair and wanted a second. These are by far the most comfortable shorts for long paddles. I don’t need a foam pad if I wear these.

    All day comfort…Sea Kayaking

    I really enjoy this product… It has greatly improved my comfort when paddling longer distances (3-5 hrs). I took the padding out of my P&H Cetus seat… the padding on these shorts “stays” with my body and importantly… allows for better hip rotation when padding (Greenland style).

    Note… they fit LARGE… order one size smaller (website information is spot on).
