I bought one for my husband (who loves it) and one of his paddling group borrowed it and loved it so much, we had to buy them one to! Sunsmart and bright and doesn't flop down in your face or get blown off.

The hat is great, but the strap is too short for a normal size head and the strap feels like it is choking me every time I attach the hat strap in moderate winds. Today I had the strap clasp break on me since the strap was too tight and I had a hard time getting it off until the clasp broke. I have had the hat for only 4 or 5 months. It would be nice if the hat strap was two to 4 more inches in length. The photo above is misleading showing a longer strap length. Anyway, I'll have to find a replacement clasp and I will design a strap extension to make it fit a normal size head. I bought the hat from Paddledynamics in TN in May or June 2024. The other Vaikobi products that I have bought are great (vest, shirt, pants, shorts).
