Vaikobi is proud to announce its official sponsorship of the Singapore IVF Va’a World Sprints Championships 2026, taking place at Singapore’s iconic Marina Bay from 17–31 August 2026.
Bringing together the global Va’a community for two weeks of world championship racing in the heart of Singapore, the IVF Va’a World Sprints will see paddlers from around the world compete on the Marina Bay waterfront.
As an Official Sponsor and Official PFD Supplier of the Championships, Vaikobi will play an important role both on and off the water throughout the event.

With PFDs mandatory for competitors at this year’s Championships, Vaikobi is proud to be the Official PFD Supplier for the event and to work alongside Tai Paddles to support athletes competing in Singapore.
VAIKOBI RACE VILLAGE STORE
Throughout the Championships, Vaikobi will operate a dedicated retail presence in the Race Village in partnership with Vai Performance, which stocks both Vaikobi technical apparel and Tai Paddles.
Competitors and supporters will be able to shop a selection of Vaikobi performance gear during the event, including their Tai Paddles collab v4 PFD decorated in the Pūhoro tradition.
Vaikobi has also developed a range of World Sprints-specific technical gear, custom designed for Singapore 2026, giving paddlers the opportunity to take home performance apparel created specifically for the Championships.
The on-site store will give international competitors direct access to Vaikobi gear throughout the event, whether they need additional equipment for racing and training or want to pick up something unique from their World Championships experience.

A GLOBAL CELEBRATION OF VA’A
Set against the Singapore skyline, the 2026 Championships will transform Marina Bay into an international hub for Va’a racing and culture from 17–31 August.
The Championships begin with a Va’a blessing on 17 August, followed by the Opening Ceremony on 19 August and Culture Night on 21 August, alongside the World Championship racing programme.
For Vaikobi, the event represents an opportunity not only to support racing at the highest level, but to connect directly with paddlers from across the international Va’a community.
