I don’t detect any odor or taste, so that is great! Like the drying hanger it comes with. I gave it four stars because: I wish the hose cover was removeable so I could see if the hose looks gunky. White would have been a better color choice for the cover as black is the best sun/heat absorber. With the mouthpiece removed, it does not rinse as quickly as my other bladders.

Game changer for my pfd
This has solved my hydration issues while going on a long paddle boarding trips as I can drink as I go without having to stop and retrieve my water bottle from the front of my board. It has eliminated my dehydration headaches I was getting while paddle boarding. I love this product.
