The Vaikobi VCold Flex pant is perfect for the 52-56 degree water in our bay. I use them to paddle on the outrigger canoes with the local group. I am not too warm or too cold with them. I used to freeze after getting into the canoe and getting out - and now am honestly comfortable even when wet.
I have paddled in these pants approximately 10 to date. They are very comfortable and I especially like the texture on the seat as this helps “grip” in the Surfski bucket. I am in the USA and my measurements are 5’10” and 177 lbs. A size large fits me just right. I will be buying this product again! One final note… these pants are great for mild to chilly days. If you are looking for pants for very very cold (near freezing or just above freezing) you will need to double these up or look for something warmer.
They work great
I purchased this item as I was looking for a pair of wetsuit pants to use on my surf ski. I tried different brands but they were not as comfy as these once. I have only used them once, but they really are the best trousers I tried, I particularly like the high back, and the softness of the material. They fit perfectly, warm, kept me dry during the session, and it was cold but I did not feel the cold at all. :-) I could even use these trousers for Stand up Paddle boarding. :-)
I really wanted something that would keep me warm during chilly Dragon Boat winter workouts (temps in the 40's). These do the job very well. I really appreciate the high back design. The only reason I knocked off a star is for fit. I am a curvy muscular female - 6" tall, 195 pounds, with long legs - (ordered an XL to fit my hips). The pants creep downwards when I walk in them. Not a problem when sitting in the boat but I have to keep hiking them up when I am off the boat.

If one of your body measurements is in between two sizes, order the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit. If your body measurements for hips and waist correspond to two different suggested sizes, order the one indicated by your hip measurement.
WAIST: Measure around the narrowest part (typically where your body bends side to side), keeping the tape horizontal.
HIPS: Measure around the widest part of your hips, keeping the tape horizontal.
CHEST: Measure the fullest area of your chest. Stand up straight and breath normally.
