Easy on/off and the straps above the ankle help keep the water out. Durable and thick soles make walking across rocks easy. I like to go up a size and add neoprene socks as an extra layer.

The boots themselves are good too.

These boots have great support for my ankles when hiking. After using them my ankles felt a lot better than without them. The grip is also fantastic.

Once I got used to the first pair that I purchased about six months ago, I found these boots to be pretty good. Solid sole with just enough flexibility. Don't pull on the tabs too hard as the stitching does pop. I also recommend giving the boots a good rinse before first wear. This stopped the overheating cookpot experience I had with my first pair. The one issue I have with these boots is the fact that the zip is not waterproof. As soon as the zip goes under the water line the boots start to fill up. If the manufacturuers could fix this problem then these boots would be near on perfect.
